I’m finding them very enjoyable and educational.
Strangely enough l worked at an easel similar to the one of your manufacture when l used to work at a signwriting company when l lived in Reading. You’re right the wall holds it stable and the pegs assist you to alter the height. A very good design we’d use it when making pictorials to accompany huge estate site boards grouping 3 lots of 8′ × 4’s together combining image and type.
I like the fact that you build on your paper representations toward the next canvas image.
There is a majesty to canvas in terms of scale and the material’s used and their historic significance.
