Acrylic paints on gesso primed paper. 20 inches square One of a continuing series of paintings, works on canvas and paper, exploring what I call the ‘Bridget Riley of the Shingle, BRotS for shot. Tis is an ‘end-stop’ to Seaford beach clad in rusting and decaying metal that provides a rich tapestry of colour varying with time and tide. The works on paper are use to work out questions around colour, texture and proportions before moving onto canvas. This is the 5th in the series
