Description

Originally created (laboriously) as a screenprint in 1975. Created using a Fibonacci sequence as a part of my fascination with mathematical parallels in fine art from Piera Della Francesca and Ucello onwards, but also reflecting my view that the attitudes of the British political establishment would eventually lead to the break up of the United Kingdom, a situation we now face in actuality. Reworked and collaged using technological aids not present originally, the image is now available as a giclee print in an edition of 25 (plus two ‘artist proofs’ for my own records). A few of the original screenprints survive and are available if wanted, but this image is sharper, has better registration, and is on better paper.
