Acrylic paint on canvas with the texture of the paint exaggerated by the addition of oil pastel. Gently rubbed over the canvas, the oil pastel colours lighten the overall effect whilst picking out and emphasizing the paint textures. Overall size is 24 inches square. This is the seventh canvas and the 26th piece of work growing out of my studies of the colour and textures visible in the rusting metal making up the external skin of the jetty at Splash Point, Seaford, Sussex UK
