Seaford BRotS #3 painting

Another of the #larger #canvases that somehow never made it onto the site. #Acrylic #paint on #canvas #primed with two coats of #gesso. #Signed on the back, 4 x 3 feet. I think I even impress my self with this one, again based on the images (photographs) of rust on #Seaford‘s #pier, liberally interpreted, played with in my search for beauty. #Colour and #texture. Acrylic paint on canvas. Size 48 x 36 inches, . Signed on the reverse. One of  a series created from a rusting ‘pier’ on Seaford Sussex seafront, in part as an homage to Bridget Riley, hence ‘BRotS’, shorthand for the ‘Bridget Riley of the Shingle’
