Fascinated by the plastic flat colouration of pegs the series continues. Also going to look at the relationship to the washing – ephemeral on the line. The painting arose from a series of photographs of the peg bag, and the flat areas of colour brought to mind Bridget Riley’s paintings. This is on canvas,. 3 feet square, unframed, signed and dated on the back. Canvas primed with coat after coat of gesso, painted with Golden and Daler-Rowney acrylic artist colours, The canvas also comes with a clear box containing the record of the process (pain pieces, used masking tape etc.)
